DRUMMING DUEL

Here’s another drum duel! This time playing with one of my best and veteran students: Álvaro Velasco (drummer of  SodaPop and The Dharmas).

He was eager to challenge himself, so I proposed “Roxanne” (as we both love The Police) to emulate Stewart Copeland‘s signature out-of-the-box rhythms and arrangements.

It was tricky to learn all the details, but we had a blast playing it together!
