More Meshuggah?

Playing a Meshuggah song is always a challenge, except maybe this one: probably the easiest from their discography, yet catchy and masterfully written.

The reason why I recorded it is just nostalgia, because it was the first song I’ve learned by them and my first introduction to the polyrhythms.

I remember playing “Suffer in Truth” live with my band April and my friend Carlos on guitar back in 2001 (when Meshuggah was still an unknown and underrated band) as a true statement of intent.

PS: The final part of this track still gives me goosebumps!
