I also want to say “Thank You” to Michael Gira & SWANS, for an excellent 40+ years career full of experimentation, superb albums and interesting side projects. They are one of the artists that I admire and respect the most.

I’ve chosen their iconic and seminal first album “Filth” (1983) because it’s distinctive percussive driven songs which allowed me to try their martial, primitive and visceral drumming style; in fact, the album was recorded with two drummers playing simultaneously and the song goes more and more chaotic as they increase the tempo while throwing spastic random drum fills here and there.

For the time being, there are only 3 or 4 drum covers of the band on the internet, so I hope other SWANS followers enjoy this homage.
