FEAR FACTORY

Fear Factory caused a big impact on me with their first album “Soul of a New Machine” (1992). That cold and mechanical sound was the perfect soundtrack for a young sci-fi geek like me.

“Self-Immolation” was always my favorite track from the album with that distorted bass and the relentless martial “hammer blows” that motivated me to start learning the double bass technique.
