Fear Factory caused a big impact on me with their first album “Soul of a New Machine” (1992). That cold and mechanical sound was the perfect soundtrack for a young sci-fi geek like me.

“Self-Immolation” was always my favorite track from the album with that distorted bass and the relentless martial “hammer blows” that motivated me to start learning the double bass technique.

Here is my tribute to Fear Factory, hope you enjoy it.

PD: Don´t forget to stay until the end  to watch the classic post-credits scene!
